Giorgio Armani Mediterranean Eye Palette Summer 2011

I'm an eyeshadow junkie, I will probably never hit pan on any of my eyeshadows because I have too much on rotation. I especially love eyeshadows that come in palettes. I wanted the Giorgio Armani Mediterranean Eye Palette for Summer 2011 ever since I laid eyes on it on the internet. For the first time, I left my number to a sales associate so that he can let me know as soon the collection hits the counter. There is only one Armani counter in the city where I live and I know that they only get few pieces from each collection. I was afraid that I will miss out, I had this crazy idea that everybody wanted the palette :).

I got the palette a couple of months ago and it did not disappoint. This is a neutral-lover's (that's me) palette. It comes in the usual Armani packaging of sleek black compact, except that this one has a gold lid with the GA logo (this is a limited edition). It also comes with a little card with instructions on how to use the different shades for different looks.

The palette consist of four neutral shades called brown (bronze shade), rose sand (champagne shade), amber (gold shade) and beige (cream shade). All shades are shimmery but subtle. They are made of finely milled powder which gives a rich creamy texture. The colors are pigmented and easy to blend. With Two Faced Shadow  Insurance as  primer, these eyeshadows last the whole day on my lids.

From top to bottom: Brown, Rose Sand, Amber, Beige

I love this eyeshadow palette. I would recommend it to somebody who likes neutral colors. Armani is one of my favorite line, I own another one of their palettes, the #2 Floral which is part of their permanent line. I want to get atleast two more, the #3 Earth and #4 Stone. The price of this Armani palettes are pretty steep but I think they're worth it.

all products and photos are  from my own collection
